Urban evolution

The summer of 2015 has felt like a turning point that's jerked Portland out of its idyllic haze. Record drought that withered gardens and turned rivers into algae baths. The Really Big One. Homes going for $400k in our sleepy neighborhood with middling schools. (Are they coming north for the water and the climate?) Gunshots fired by gangsters down the street. Freeways slowed to a crawl. 

But maybe it's just me. This is where we find out.
